For minimally invasive surgery (MIS) for open heart procedures, TeDan Surgical manufactures the Ultravision retractor. Designed to meet the needs of small thoracic access, and for a partial sternotomy, Ultravision offers unique concave and convex blades (for thoracotomy cases) and a patented pivoting mechanism to increase exposure and access for the surgeon. An optional Phantom lighting system is available to increase visibility.
